Sony FDR-AX700 4K Camcorder

HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos can be recorded and processed using the HLG format for display on HDR televisions. When compared to SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) formats, HDR provides noticeably improved color and contrast representation. The AX700 is an all-around camera for anything from family activities to professional filmmaking and videography, thanks to dual SD card slots, an LCD and viewfinder, manual controls, a 12x zoom capability, and a comfortable size factor.
Focusing has become more challenging with 4K recording. With the increase in resolution over HD formats, missed focus becomes considerably more visible. Sony’s phase detection autofocus system employs 273 points to lock onto and track moving subjects in the frame. Focus speed and tracking can be tailored to your specific project. So, whether you’re following fast-moving automobiles or actors moving through the frame, the AX700 will be able to keep up and keep the focus sharp.
Sony includes S-Log2 and S-Log3 picture profiles, in addition to their S-Gamut color scheme, for more experienced users. Enabling this feature gives you more control over the final image via post-production processing.
